Korg Havian 30 Home-Piano

The Korg Havian 30 88-Note Digital Ensemble Piano is a complete musical ensemble for your home. It features sounds ranging from a classic grand piano to the most evocative honky-tonk, as well as an extensive selection of electric pianos.

Everything about the Havian 30 has been designed to provide users with the most realistic piano experience. The most important part of giving this is through what you actually touch, the keys. A full sized keybed with weighted, European hammer-action keys help provide this level of realism, but the sounds also help. The grand piano sound for example has been recorded in multiple dynamic levels making it sound authentic and natural.

Along with this grand piano sound, Korg have added an intimate upright piano, a honky-tonk, and an extensive selection of electric pianos. From classic rock to ragtime, R&B to modern jazz and everything in between, the Havian provides everything needed to play a lifetime of great music. For historically inspired performances, the Havian features a Harpsicord which can be customised by choosing one of the period tunings using the TouchView display and the intuitive controls.

This easy-to-use 5” TFT colour TouchView display gives you an intuitive interface that drives every aspect of your chosen instrument. By simply using touch, you can edit and control parameters of instruments, or just generally control the Havian 30.

The Havian 30 accepts the use of MIDI and MP3 formats, and both formats can be used for recording. The fully-featured sequencer allows you to record MIDI songs, and with a quick hit of the Styles button, you can record your real time performances. When playing MIDI data, things such as lyrics and chords that might be attached will be shown on the display. Everything played can be also easily recorded and saved as an MP3 file for playback anywhere.

The Havian features a large amount of preloaded 'Styles' (play-along songs) that'll fit any genre of music. Any song chosen from this wide variety can be freely customized to your taste, or created completely from scratch. There are also accompaniment parts that can be used to follow chords, and they range from very simple to the rich harmonization of a competent jazz player.

The USB ports allow players to connect to any external storage device, computer, smartphone or tablet without any need for a dedicated MIDI interface.
