With the strictly limited edition of the D-18 model, first released in 1934, the traditional manufacturer Martin presents an electro acoustic guitar in the classic dreadnought design. Equipped with a Sitka spruce top and a mahogany body, the Martin D-18E 2020 Limited electro acustic guitar can produce a powerful and well-balanced sound due to its large dreadnought design, which is especially pronounced in the high and mid frequencies. Thanks to the scalloped X bracing, the warm basses of the mahogany body shine into the sound gently and give the instrument a deep saturation and fast response. A mahogany neck with modified low oval profile allows easy access across all 20 frets and makes even difficult fingerings simple. A special feature of this model, which is limited to 2,020 pieces, is the striking rosewood fretboard with Old-Style-18-Abalone inlays, which in combination with a rosewood bridge completes the transition between the individual woods very aesthetically. A 44.45 mm wide bone nut and a compensated TUSQ saddle ensure perfect intonation on all frets and form a perfect interaction with the precise open-gear nickel tuners, which are embedded in the signature headstock. A L.R. Baggs Anthem pickup system amplifies the acoustic sound of the guitar in most naturally and completes the set up. The Martin D-18E 2020 Limited dreadnought acoustic guitar comes in a sturdy ply hardshell case.
