The Natal Ash Traditional Shell-Set Grey Sparkle is a professional drum set made of ash wood with two inner plus of basswood. This results in an excellent sound with professional characteristics. The steel hoops are 2.3 mm thick and double polished. The Natal Resonance Mount (NRM) allows the shells to vibrate freely without any contact with the shell. The typical sun-badges are die-cast and give the Natal Drumset an excellent optical appearance.

The company Natal Drums is one of the market leaders in the field of drums & percussion, especially in Great Britain. Instruments from Natal were used on stage by the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and Santana, among others. Jim Marshall personally sold Natal instruments in his shop in the early 60s and in the meantime the brand belongs to the amplifier manufacturer Marshall.
