The belt does not slip on the shoulder due to the specially treated inner side, while the width of six centimetres distributes the weight of the instrument comfortably.
Richter does very good quality leather straps at a good price. They are sturdy, durable, they smell good, and they are adjustable for every height (even for a 187cm obese guy like me). Also they are made in germany and not imported from china using slave-like labour.
