The Tobinski Harmonic Timing Generator is a flexible Eurorack module that combines advanced clock generation with the manipulation of harmonic waveforms. When used with the Tobinski Sequencer, the module is a great tool for the creative use of rhythms and sounds. As the primary clock source, the HTG generates a base frequency with analog multipliers (x1 to x8) to create complex counting times. Three knobs allow for manual and voltage controlled frequency adjustment, providing flexibility for complex sequences. The LFO mode enables slower clock rates, which is particularly useful for controlling sequencers or generating voltage curves. In combination with the Interpolating Scanner, the sawtooth outputs of the Harmonic Timing Generator are converted into sine waves. This allows the module to be used as a harmonic oscillator in an audio patch or as a versatile modulation source in LFO mode. Thanks to its dual functionality, the module can be used at various points in a Patch, from rhythm generation to the exploration of harmonics.
