TimeCore: a modern time code toolbox
The TimeCore is a compact device that can perform all tasks associated with time code. It can generate, follow, convert and display time code signals. It even processes a number of non-time code protocols.
Generate and follow time code
The TimeCore can be set as a time code master in which a stable time code signal is generated. Alternatively, the device can also be set as a time code slave. A large LED display shows the current timecode frame in real time.
Convert Time Code
The device supports the reception and transmission of SMPTE (LTC), MTC and an Ethernet-based time code (Art-Net). The TimeCore can convert between any of these protocols. It can even convert between different frame rates (24, 25, 29.97, 30).
Ethernet capable
The TimeCore has an Ethernet port through which you can access the internal web server. You can use this web server to fully configure the behavior of the device.
Displaying Control Logs
Various protocols often found in show control are supported, such as UDP, TCP, OSC and MIDI. All messages received from these protocols can be used to start, stop or manipulate the time code. In addition, sending these logs can be mapped on the Timeline.
Light protocols
The TimeCore speaks lighting languages such as Art-Net and sACN. The device can interact directly with your light desk.
family
The functionality of the TimeCore can be extended by combining it with other members of the core product family. The IoCore can add GPI, 0-10V, GPO and RS-232 ports to the TimeCore. The CueCore expands with DMX-512 and recorded light shows. The B-Station can be used as a remote control.
Download the software tools
The TimeCore is bundled with software tools. With vManager, you can detect time cores on the network, back up your internal data, and update the firmware. There is also a simple program for creating custom touch screen user interfaces called Kiosc.
