The Yamaha CVP-609 GP digital grand piano is much more than just a high-quality digital piano. The digital grand piano has a NW (Natural Wood) keyboard with synthetic ivory top layers and is linearly weighted. Real playing feeling like a grand piano

The Yamaha CVP-609 digital piano is equipped with a NW (Natural Wood) keyboard. The top layers of the keyboard are made of synthetic ivory and remain handy even after long playing times. 88 linearly weighted keys reproduce the memory cell weight of each individual key. This gives the pianist the feeling of sitting on an acoustic grand piano.

Large selection of high-quality sounds

The CVP 609 GP grand piano uses RGE (REAL Grand Experience) sound generation. It reproduces the joy of playing and the expressiveness of a real concert grand piano. The string resonance, which expresses the mild sound of the free strings, and key-off samples, which make the fine difference in sound just before the mute touches the string, provide a beautiful and rich sound. In addition, the digital grand piano contains the Super Articulation2 tones. This large selection of additional sounds ranges from electric pianos, organs, wind instruments, strings to modern synth sounds.
