I bought these to accompany my Zoom H6 for location recording of both voices and other sounds. Many of my recordings are made on location - bees coming in and out of their hives, horses munching their fodder, a blacksmith hammering on his anvil - and the over-ear style means that these headphones are very effective in shutting out other sounds. They're also comfortable, easy to pack as the earpieces swivel, and - oh yes! - the sound is good too.
