Due to their hyper-cardioid characteristic, AKG CGN99 gooseneck microphones are particularly suitable for rooms with strong reverberation, such as churches, as well as situations where the speaker is located a little further away from the microphone. In addition, a hypercardioid characteristic is less susceptible to feedback, meaning it can compensate better when speakers are directly at the microphone.
The AKG CGN gooseneck microphones can be installed with the help of installation modules (separately available), but can also be set up freely by means of a sturdy, heavy table stand (separately available). For uneven surfaces, mounting on a tripod is recommended. AKG offers an extensive range of accessories which, in addition to installation modules, also offers various tripod solutions.
The matching installation modules are rubber-insulated and therefore offer optimum damping of structure noise. Thanks to the flexible joint, AKG CGN99 gooseneck microphones can be spontaneously and easily adapted to any speaker position.
