The EagenMatrix Micro from Haken Audio is the smallest version of the EagenMatrix to date. It contains the same digital sound generation as used in the Continuum Fingerboards from Haken Audio and the Expressive-E Osmose. The synthesizer supports MPE and MPE+ MIDI, and there is also a large selection of presets that can be easily customized with the Haken Editor (available for Mac and PC) and exchanged with other EagenMatrix instruments. Control and power supply are completely via USB. The modular EaganMatrix masters various synthesis models such as subtractive, FM, Physical Modelling including modal filter banks with the aid of various oscillators, filters, modifiers such as Waveshaping or ring modulation, several modulation sources such as envelopes, LFOs and internal and external controllers. Parameters can also be combined in the editor, allowing even more complex sound changes to be implemented. This makes the EM one of the most complex digital sound generation methods on the market. Depending on the complexity of a sound, the polyphony ranges from 1 to 8 voices. The Stereo audio output is a 3.5mm stereo jack. A sustain pedal or the Control Voltage Converter can be connected to the EXT connection.
