The Ibanez Prestige AZ2402-AGM Apple Green Metallic is the perfect tool for the modern guitarist who is looking for a first-class electric guitar for the realization of the most virtuoso playing techniques in a rock, fusion or jazz context. The ergonomically designed alder body and the bolt-on S-Tech wood neck offer unhindered playability, while specially developed Seymour Duncan Hyperion pickups with dyna-MIX10 circuitry provide versatile sounds with lively articulation. The Ibanez AZ2402 also features a high-quality Gotoh T1802 Tremolo with titanium string saddles and Gotoh H.A.P. locking tuners.
The Ibanez AZ2402-AGM Apple Green Metallic convinces with unhindered playing comfort and first-class sound variety.
First-class woods and unhindered playing comfort
Ibanez chose classic alder wood for the ergonomically curved body of the Ibanez AZ2402, with wide-cut Cutaways and the "Super All Access Neck Joint" making even the highest positions easily accessible. However, the absolute highlight of the Ibanez AZ2402 is undoubtedly the bolt-on neck made from S-Tech Wood Roasted Maple. This maple wood is thermally treated in a pure nitrogen atmosphere, which makes it insensitive to climate changes and gives it excellent resonance. The medium-bodied "AZ Oval C" profile sits comfortably in the hand, so that between the 24 stainless steel frets in jumbo format, any song, no matter how complex, can be played comfortably from the fingers. Fluorescent side dots allow optimal orientation even on the darkest stages.
Seymour Duncan Hyperion pickups with dyna-MIX10 circuitry
For optimum tone conversion, none other than Seymour Duncan provides the pickups for the Ibanez AZ2402. The Seymour Duncan Hyperion humbuckers installed in the neck and bridge position impress with a moderately increased Output and a balanced output of all frequencies, so that expressive electric guitar playing is optimally supported in conjunction with the lively dynamics. The coils of the different pickup combinations are selected using the 5-way blade switch, whereby additional options can be called up thanks to the dyna-MIX10 circuit. When the "Alter" switch is pressed, one coil of each humbucker is "tapped" with a reduced number of windings, so that thinned-out, finely resolved timbres are available.
The Ibanez Prestige AZ2402 delivers versatile sounds with the help of the dyna-MIX10 circuit.
High-quality Hardware from Gotoh
Last but not least, the Ibanez Prestige AZ2402-AGM Apple Green Metallic impresses with its first-class hardware equipment. The bridge is the Gotoh T1802 tremolo specially developed for the Ibanez AZ series, which is equipped with titanium string saddles and a solid steel block to enhance the sound. With string spacing of 10.5 mm, it also supports optimum attack technique. At the headstock, the strings are also guided via a bone saddle to the Gotoh Magnum Lock H.A.P. machine heads, whose height-adjustable winding axles guarantee optimum string pressure.
