Versatile overdrive effects pedal with boost and MIDI control
The Jackson Audio Broken Arrow is a versatile overdrive pedal with switchable boost, at the heart of which its analogue sound generation with digital control provides rich sound options. The pedal offers four clipping and boost modes each for distinctive tones, complemented by the innovative Gain Cycle function for quick changes in distortion intensity. The Jackson Audio Broken Arrow pedal also features an active 3-band EQ to adjust the sound. Last but not least, the Jackson Audio Broken Arrow features MIDI control.
Four clipping modes and active 3-band EQ
Thanks to the modern digital control, the fully analogue signal generation of the effects pedal provides a total of four distinctive clipping modes for overdrive, which are indicated by a colour change of the status LED. The classic screamer mode delivers the drive and compression of two symmetrically clipping silicon diodes, whereas the asymmetrical clipping mode features three diodes and thus promises a harmonically complex sound image. With four silicon diodes, the Symmetrical mode ensures a focused and direct sound with lively dynamics. Last but not least, the amp style mode based on two red LEDs promises an open sound with high headroom. For precise adjustment of the tone, the Jackson Audio Broken Arrow has an active 3-band EQ with 12 dB boost or cut per frequency band.
Innovative gain-cycling
The Jackson Audio Broken Arrow's innovative gain-cycling function is another practical feature. It divides the selected gain setting into four levels of 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% intensity, which can be switched between by pressing both footswitches simultaneously. This means that different variations of the set sound can be quickly and easily recalled without having to reach for the knob.
Four boost modes
The Broken Arrow also features an integrated MOSFET booster, which significantly changes the level and sound character if desired. In addition to the full-range booster, which boosts the entire frequency spectrum evenly, there is also a bright and a mid-boost to emphasise the high or mid frequencies. Furthermore the tailored boost, which has been specially tuned, adds the finishing touch to almost any overdrive sound.
