Doublecut body made of poplar
Of course, the body shaping of the poplar body follows the ergonomic specifications of the original and offers a comfortable playing feel both standing and sitting thanks to the practical Forearm Contourand slim TummyCut on the back. The classic Cutaway scoop on the lower body horn is also used, which gives the picking hand additional freedom when playing in the higher registers.

Maple fingerboard with Small Bird inlays
As the most important distinguishing feature of a genuine PRS guitar, classic Bird Inlays naturally cannot be missing! These are inlaid as 'Small Birds' version in the 22-fret fretboard made of maple, which now also supports precise bendings and improved handling of the high E-string with an extended fretboard radius of 8.5". On the other hand, the PRS SE Silver Sky features a classic bolt-on maple neck with a 635JM profile that has the unique shaping of the Core model.
635JM "S" Single Coils
Three 635JM "S" single coilsin the neck, middle and bridge positions of the PRS SE Silver Sky provide matching sounds in all registers. Originally designed for the US-made Silver Sky, the "S" version of the pickups is adapted to the configuration of the SE Silver Sky to elicit amazing musical qualities from the instrument's poplar body. All three pickups are wired according to the classic recipe with a 5-way blade switch, a master volume control and two additional tone controls for neck and middle position.
