The CDJ-3000 DJ multiplayer opens up new dimensions of creative possibilities for DJs. Featuring a revolutionary new MPU (microprocessor unit), it delivers enhanced performance, maximum stability, and exceptional reliability. The extensively redesigned audio architecture, with its 96 kHz/32-bit floating resolution across all supported audio formats, ensures impressively clear sound quality that meets the highest professional standards. The intuitive user interface has been refined to make operation even more efficient. Dedicated hardware buttons provide direct access to eight hot cues, beat jump, key sync, and an expanded beat loop section, enabling the CDJ-3000 to be used like a musical instrument. This is complemented by a high-resolution 9-inch touchscreen display, which presents all essential information in a clear and accessible format, while also incorporating innovative features such as Touch Cue and Touch Preview. Another standout feature is the improved jog wheel, which offers even greater precision and responsiveness. Practical tools like Pro DJ Link with Gigabit Ethernet, shortcuts, stacked waveform, and the 3-band waveform allow for a faster workflow and optimize performance during every set. With the Pioneer DJ CDJ-3000, DJs are equipped with a tool that combines creative freedom with technical perfection at the highest level – a truly indispensable device for modern DJ artistry.
Thanks to the new microprocessor unit (MPU), the Pioneer operates with even greater stability. This MPU delivers increased processing power, enabling new DJ-focused features. Additionally, future updates may introduce even more capabilities.
The most noticeable update is the central LCD screen, which displays the playback position and track artwork for quicker reference. The "other" update lies beneath the surface, making the jog wheel smoother than ever – perfect for professional scratches and nudges. On top of that, the latency has been halved.
The 9-inch touchscreen provides more space for additional information. It can display shortcuts, buttons for frequently used categories, as well as playlist and search functions. Users can customise the display to their liking or create presets, for instance, to adjust text size. Swiping gestures allow navigation and sorting, and tracks can be rearranged directly in the playlist by touching the screen. Furthermore, the display's brightness can now be increased by over 150%.
To listen to any part of a track, simply touch the waveform at the desired point in the browse area. When multiple players are connected via Pro DJ Link with a DJM-V10 or DJM-900NXS2 mixer, Link Cue allows you to preview tracks from another player.
With Touch Cue, you can listen to a different part of the currently playing track by tapping the waveform – without the audience hearing it. This is especially useful when you're unfamiliar with a track's progression. Touch Cue helps identify mix points, making it a valuable tool during DJ transitions or sets involving two DJs. Link Cue even enables you to preview different sections of a track being played on another player.
Hot Cues can be triggered intuitively using the eight buttons arranged in a row below the waveform display. Their linear arrangement makes it feel more natural to select cue points corresponding to their position within the track.
The high-quality aluminium top plate and redesigned Play, Cue, and Hot Cue buttons are built for exceptional durability. The V-Lock power cable (not available in all regions) prevents accidental disconnection, ensuring uninterrupted performance. A premium digital cable is included, making the CDJ-3000 ideal for use in clubs and professional setups.
Thanks to compatibility with the new Pro DJ Link Lighting feature, sound and lighting can be perfectly synchronised. The CDJ-3000 sends phrase analysis information to rekordbox (PC/Mac), allowing lighting effects to be coordinated via the RB-DMX1 (sold separately). This takes every show to a whole new level.
