With the 412ce-R RosewoodTaylor offers a fully solid Grand Concert from the popular 400 series, which comes instead of a body of Ovangkol with Indian rosewood. In combination with a Sitka spruce top, the result is a well-balanced sound with clearly defined basses, nuanced and striking mids, as well as brilliant highs. This makes the Taylor 412ce-R ideal for playing together with other instruments, as the powerful mid-highs come through well.
In addition, the shortened scale length of 632mm provides a soft playability due to the lower tension. A compensated micarta saddle provides clean intonation and flat string action, while chrome-plated die-cast tuners keep the tuning clean and ensure precise Tuning.
