Having been playing mono phonically for ages i.e. playing along with records, tapes, CD & YT, I wanted to improve my skills & start playing with both hands, having looked at several Manufacturers options and with advice taken from YT and my own experience with other Yamaha keyboards I've have, I decided on the EZ-220 61 Note keyboard as it has the most options for training both hands you can train the right or left individually or both hands with the Waiting function, eventually doing so with the key LED's off. I get real satisfaction on completing the on board tunes. The selection of tunes is really wide from Nursery rhymes - Classical which also means that the level of difficulty increases as you progress through them. The selection of Instruments is also very impressive. I haven't explored all the functions yet, but I'm very happy with what I'm using so far.
Following my experience with pro equipment I wasn't expecting great things from this keyboard purchased for my young grandaughter but I'm very impressed with the build quality and the sound from the EZ220. Obviously, there are limitations but it's a delight to use, its light weight makes setting up easy and the app linking it to an iPad is intuitive and novel. I can thoroughly recommend this product to beginners and hobbyists alike.
