The Yamaha HS5i 2-Way Active Nearfield Monitor White (Single) is a nearfield monitor with a 5" woofer and 1" tweeter, an integrated 70W high power amp, and comes in white. The HSI Series of monitors is an extension on the HS Series. These new for 2016 monitors have added mounting points that are compatible with three bracket types (none included) - wall, ceiling and baton. The HSI monitors give you the flexibility for a range of sonic environments.
These powered monitors feature newly developed transducers that achieve a smooth response over a wide range of bandwidth. These transducers utilise an advanced magnetic field design that regulates the flow of magnetic response to provide seamless, natural sonic transitions. The enclosures are constructed from a very dense and resilient MDF with a damped acoustic response that is perfectly suited for reference monitors.
