4ms Looping Delay at a glance
The 4msLooping Delay is a crystal clear sounding, clock-synchronized Delay effect with full CV control. By default, the Looping Delay works as a mono effect with a delay time of up to 87 seconds. In stereo mode, the delay time is reduced to 43 seconds and the send/return connections are transformed into inputs and outputs for the second channel. The delay time always refers to the clock, which is fed internally via tap tempo or via an external clock. Extremely short delay times enable Karplus-Strong synthesis at high to maximum feedback rates, which is convincingly reproduced with the looping Delay. Reverse mode plays the signal currently in the Delay buffer backwards. The Infinite Hold mode deactivates the recording input and fixes the Feedback at exactly 100%. In this state, you can "stir" through the delay buffer with the controls. Both modes can be triggered separately via trigger or Gate signal; if required, a Clock-Divider module can also be used to create a musically harmonious context for both at the same time. Thanks to the CV inputs for the four main parameters, a wild ride through the effect signal is possible in combination with various (synchronized) control voltages. In mono mode, the feedback path can be processed with another module such as a filter or Equalizer via the send/return connections.
