The Aguilar Octamizer is an analogue octaver for electric bass, which convinces with its distinctive sound. It adds an octave below the played tone, so that a fat organic bass sound is on the agenda. In addition to the separate level controls for direct and effect signal, a "Clean Tone" control is available, which either emphasises the treble and cuts the bass or emphasises the bass and cuts the treble back via a tilt EQ. The "Octave Filter" control also determines the sonic character of the octave-triggered tone via a multi-pole low-pass filter. A special feature furthermore is the Gig Saver Bypass, which directs the signal to the output when the battery is empty, allowing the player to continue playing.
