The DaVinci Resolve Mini Panel grading console from Black Magic Design is ideal for happy film editors and colorists who alternate between editing and color correction. In addition, two 5" LCD color screens provide a great overview and at the same time provide an accurate display and control of menus and parameters. At the same time, it brings many special tools for targeted tinting and color value ranges of luminance and chrominance. In addition, three weighted, high-resolution trackballs provide a comfortable and progressive workflow. A total of 12 precision-engineered controls are provided, while buttons are used to switch between the Log and Primary wheels and to access the Full Screen view.

The individual controls and how they work

The Y Lift, Y Gamma and Y Gain controls are used to adjust for luminance, while the Luminance control changes brightness without affecting color saturation. The Contrast sl ider varies the tonal differences between light and dark areas of the image. The Pivot slider lets you refine the adjusted contrast in the tonal center, and the "Midtone Detail" slider defines the perceived sharpness of the image. The "Color Boost" gives the colors a higher saturation, while the "Shadows" and "Highlights" sliders can be used to lighten or darken the drawing in the shadows. Furthermore,eight multifunction buttons and eight multifunction sliders can be freely assigned by the included DaVinci Resolve Studio software.
