With the ESP LTD B-155DX Honey Natural, ESP Guitars presents a 5-string electric bass that offers versatile sounds and a high level of playing comfort at an outstanding price/performance ratio. The electric bass not only has an ergonomic Linde body with a chic maple top, but also a maple neck that is easy to play on. The combination of ESP designed pickups and the active 3-band equalizer on the amplifier promises a wide sound spectrum for every musical genre.
High playing comfort, chic Look
The ergonomically shaped body of the ESP LTD B-155DX is made of lime-tree and carries a top of maple, the intensive grain of which is perfectly accentuated by the Honey Natural Finish. The maple neck is connected to the body with six screws and lies comfortably in the hand with its "Thin U" profile. In addition, the wood combination promises a balanced basic sound with fast attack and perfect tone definition, which also reproduces the low B string precisely.
ESP Pickups and active electronics
The LTD B-155DX Honey Natural uses two ESP Designed SB-5 pickups in the neck and bridge position as pickups. At the amplifier, they deliver a variable sound that responds dynamically to the playing style and asserts itself perfectly even in the densest band sound. The low B-string is also clearly defined and integrated into the sound in a balanced way. In addition, the 5-string electric bass is equipped with a musically tuned, active 3-band tone control, with which the sound image can be adjusted particularly precisely in the character-forming frequency ranges.
