Limited Edition electric guitar with Gibson USA pickups and Aged finish, including case
The strictly limited Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Standard Aged Dark Burst was developed in cooperation with the guitar builders of the Gibson Custom Shop and offers the authentic features of the legendary Holy-Grail-Guitars from the end of the 1950s at an attractive price. The mahogany body with maple top and curly maple veneer in Aged finish conveys the authentic 'burst feel, while the mahogany neck is glued with a historically accurate long-neck tenon. Two original Gibson USA burstbucker pickups with typical '50s wiring also provide first-class vintage sounds at the guitar amp, whose airy midrange spectrum brings the riffs and licks of Blues and rock to life. Last but not least, a LockTone bridge and Epiphone Deluxe Vintage complete the Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Standard Aged Dark Burst.
With Gibson USA burstbucker pickups and authentic appointments, the Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Standard Aged Dark Burst conveys the sound and feel of the legendary Holy Grail Les Pauls of the late 1950s.
Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Standard in traditional design
As a reissue of the legendary Holy-Grail Les Pauls, the construction of the Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Standard naturally follows the historical specifications. The combination of mahogany body and maple top, which follows the typical end-'50s contours, promises a powerful sound with brilliant trebles, while the curly maple veneer emphasizes the typical 'burst look. Glued with long neck heel (Long-Neck-Tenon), the mahogany neck also supports the even sustain of the electric guitar. At the same time, the "'59 Rounded C" neck profile guarantees comfortable playing characteristics on the 22-fret Indian Laurel fingerboard with the typical trapeze inlays. Last but not least, the elaborate aged finish conveys the look and feel of a well-kept vintage original.
Original Gibson USA Burstbucker and '50s-Wiring
With original Gibson USA Burstbucker pickups the Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Standard Aged Dark Burst delivers first-class vintage sounds in the style of the legendary PAFs from the end of the 1950s. The neck-mounted Gibson USA Burstbucker 2 delivers an especially warm, yet airy tone for harmonically sparkling cleans and singing solo sounds in the drive channel. The bridge-mounted Gibson USA Burstbucker 3, on the other hand, has a moderately increased Output and thus turns out to be a guarantor for lively drive sounds with rock vibes. The pickup is controlled via the historically correct '50s-Wiring with CTS potentiometers and Mallory capacitors, which allows especially harmonic volume and treble roll-offs.
High-quality Hardware in vintage style
Last but not least, the Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Standard Aged Dark Burst impresses with reliable hardware features in classic vintage style. Accordingly, the strings are guided from the classic LockTone stopbar via a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge, which supports optimal adjustment of intonation and string action. On the beautiful Kalamazoo headstock, a GraphTech NuBone nut and Epiphone Vintage Deluxe tuners, which naturally feature the single-ring tulip wings of the coveted Vintage originals, also ensure that the electric guitar is stable and accurate tuning.

Plays like a dream and is a real treat to look at, too. I am still only a beginner, I have a Morris acoustic guitar, a Fender Player Strat, and Epiphone Embassy bass and this 59 Les Paul - the Les Paul is currently my favourite to play. The Burstbuckers bring out a really rich tone which I love.
Music Store shipped out the guitar quickly, it was well packed, and arrived safe. Thank you!
