Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor II Pro (Vintage Sunburst) 6-String Archtop Electric Guitar
The Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor II Pro (Vintage Sunburst) is a 6-string Archtop Electric Guitar which honours the exceptional guitarist of Jazz and Bebop. This instrument is based on Joe's favourite Epiphone and features a Spruce top on laminated Maple as well as a Maple neck in the famous Slim Taper profile for professional playing techniques and grips. On the hardware side, the Joe Pass Emperor II uses the classic combination of a Pau Ferro fingerboard and a golden "Vintage Scroll" trapezoid tailpiece, while 2x in-house Epiphone ProBucker pick-ups in neck and bridge position produce warm Jazz leads and clearly articulated chord sounds through the amplifier.
Epiphone's Joe Pass Emperor II Pro corresponds to its sister model L4 with a body width of 16" and a depth of 2.75" and comes with a selected Spruce top on a laminated Maple body. 2x ProBuckers in neck and bridge position provide central vocal warmth with a soft attack on the neck and clear trebles on the bridge. Thanks to the Coil Split option, even classically airy single coil sounds are possible in both positions. The compensated Rosewood bridge, which is mounted on the same material, contributes to the characteristic sound development with warm acoustic timbre.
The main features of the Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor II Pro (Vintage Sunburst) include:

Having had it for only two days... Guitar looks and feels great. Really high quality finish. Acoustically the Sound is a bit harsh but ok when played through an amp. It is hard to keep it in tune but I will change the strings and maybe try adjusting the setup to correct the issues.
