Epiphone uses a mahogany body with a maple top and a glued mahogany neck, which thanks to the flowing "Axcess Heel" and "1960s Slim Taper D" profile can be played up to the highest fret of the fingerboard made of white phenolic resin without any problems. The guitar also features the proven combination of an EMG 85 on the neck and an EMG 81 on the bridge for particularly hot metal sounds with high assertiveness.
