Tàin from Instruo is a two-channel, bidirectional switch module suitable for various tasks in Eurorack. The two channels are of the same design and are not coupled with each other. The three sockets connected by lines are either two inputs and one output or one input and two outputs. With the white button switching state is changed, or A or B is let through. As long as the button is pressed respectively a gate or trigger is released, the second input output is active. With Latch the process is reversed, in this case the second channel is permanently active and changes to channel A when the button is pressed or gate is triggered.
Why do you need something like this?
Switching two modulation sources to one destination
Switching between two other waveforms in the audio section with a square waveform
Switching from two trigger patterns to one envelope or drum module
Switch routing from one modulation source to two destinations
On individual steps, let the oscillator act on the cutoff instead of accent
