With the Ibanez Standard Q52PB-COL Quest Cosmic Blue Low Gloss, the Japanese guitar giant is launching an agile headless guitar that is perfectly tailored to the demands of modern guitarists and their extremely accomplished playing technique. The high ergonomics of the electric guitar are enhanced by a flat body design and an extremely agile neck, while Q58 humbuckers with dyna-MIX10 circuitry deliver multi-faceted tones for avant-garde rock, metal and fusion. Innovative mono-tune bridges and an Ibanez CustomString lock complete the standard Q52 from the Quest series by Ibanez.
The Ibanez Standard Q52PB-COL Quest Cosmic Blue Low Gloss is a modern headless electric guitar with extensive optimizations for adept playing techniques and multi-faceted sounds.
Thanks to the well-known All Access Neck Joint, the agile "Wizard C" neck can be easily played up to the highest registers.
Agile design
Thanks to its flat shaping with generous contours, the lightweight Nyatoh body of the Ibanez Q52 sits perfectly on the player and also adopts a balanced position on the strap. The pleasantly rounded "Wizard C" profile of the three-piece neck made of roasted maple and bubinga promises extremely agile playing characteristics, allowing the most complex runs and chord voicings to be performed with ease on the 24-fret roasted birdseye maple fingerboard. Last but not least, the intensely patterned burl poplar top transforms the electric guitar into a visual highlight.
Ibanez Q58 humbuckers with Alnico magnets together with the dyna-MIX10 circuit provide an extremely rich sound spectrum.

The electrical sound conversion of the Quest Q52 guitar is handled by two Ibanez Q58 humbuckers with Alnico magnets, whose sound characteristics are perfectly matched to the modern styles of rock and fusion. With a perfect balance across all frequency ranges and a defined sound image, the pickups reproduce every note played, so that even complex chords are reproduced with perfect string separation. The innovative dyna-MIX10 circuit with 5-way blade switch and Alter Switch provides ten different combinations of pickups for extensive sound colours.
The Ibanez Custom String Lock guarantees a bombproof hold of the strings.
Perfectly tuned hardware
The Hardware of the Ibanez Standard Q52PB-COL Quest Cosmic Blue Low Gloss has also been perfectly matched to the instrument and the demands of modern guitarists. The reduced headstock features an Ibanez CustomString lock, which guarantees a secure hold of the strings and supports quick string changes. On the body, on the other hand, Ibanez Mono-Tune individual bridges are placed, which not only guarantee optimum adjustment of intonation and string action but also ensure precise and stable Tuningtuning thanks to the integrated tuning mechanism.
