LA CIRCUITS EM-601 Technicolor

The EM-601 Technicolor from LA Circuits is a BBD-based analog echo/reverb with a great retro sound. In "Concurrent Mode" six parallel taps are used from the BBD chip to realize natural reverb effects. In "Discrete-Mode" the full 3328 stages of the BBD chip are available, which corresponds to a delay time of 20-250 milliseconds. If the delay time is modulated by an LFO, you can get nice chorus and vibrato effects at low times, like you might remember them from old studio equipment of the late 70s. Soundwise the EM-601 is warm and charismatic. The mix control can also be modulated with a control voltage, which makes the effect selectively applicable.
