Midas DN4816-I

The Midas 4816-I breakout box is the perfect choice for professional audio environments that require the highest sound quality, versatility and reliable performance. With its 16 balanced XLR line inputs, it is fully compatible with StageConnect and Behringer Ultranet systems. Furthermore, it can be used as an analog input source for numerous devices such as StageConnect receivers, Turbosound iQ speakers, Behringer WING or Ultranet receivers such as the P16 Personal Monitoring Mixer.

Thanks to the innovative StageConnect technology, the 4816-I enables the transmission of up to 32 audio channels with a latency in the sub-millisecond range. It delivers 24-bit uncompressed PCM audio with sampling rates of 44.1 or 48 kHz and works with standard XLR microphone or DMX cables. The breakout box can also be expanded: by cascading two units, a total of 32 analog low-latency line inputs can be provided for the StageConnect bus.

The Midas 4816-I impresses with its flexible connection options, as it can be used with any balanced microphone cable. Furthermore, it supports bidirectional audio transmissions including control data and provides a remote power supply of 12 VDC / 18 W to make setup as easy as possible.
