Featuring a coreless direct drive motor and additional enhancements, the turntable delivers exceptional performance. New features such as reverse play and an expanded pitch range from ±8% to ±16% offer DJs unparalleled creative freedom. The statically balanced tonearm ensures precise tracking of vinyl grooves, contributing significantly to outstanding audio quality. For effective vibration damping, the model incorporates a dual-layered platter, a robust chassis, and high-grade damping feet. Additional practical features, such as a durable and bright LED stylus light, detachable power and signal cables, and adjustable start and brake torque, enhance its usability and convenience.
The design sets new benchmarks: a matte black chassis adorned with striking green Y-shaped elements inspired by Automobili Lamborghini lends the device a distinctive appearance. The platter of the SL-1200M7B is powered by a coreless direct drive motor, eliminating cogging completely. Without disruptive irregularities, the motor ensures smooth rotation and powerful performance. This delivers precise playback, exceptional sound quality, and maximum reliability for any application.
The SL-1200M7B features a statically balanced S-shaped tonearm crafted from high-strength aluminium, which minimizes vibrations and ensures precise groove tracking. Its precisely engineered bearings with gimbal suspension provide outstanding stability, reduce unwanted movement, and guarantee reliable performance – even for demanding DJ techniques such as scratching.
Equipped with a die-cast aluminium platter, the SL-1200M7B boasts a dual-layered structure. The underside is fully coated with vibration-damping rubber, effectively eliminating resonance. This protects the record from unwanted vibrations, resulting in clear, authentic sound reproduction.
The SL-1200M7B’s chassis combines die-cast aluminium and ABS plastic reinforced with fibreglass, offering exceptional stability and vibration suppression. Additionally, specially designed feet with a spring and rubber system effectively absorb external impacts. This robust construction provides DJs with maximum resistance to interference, especially advantageous during intense scratching performances.
The SL-1200M7B supports 33-1/3, 45, and 78 RPM playback. The pitch range can be extended to ±8% or ±16%, with precise digital control enabling accurate adjustments. This gives DJs ultimate flexibility and precision for flawless beatmatching and seamless mixing.
The SL-1200M7B’s stylus illumination uses durable, bright LED technology with a push mechanism.
