The Yamaha FGX3 at a glance
With the all-solid FGX3 acoustic guitar from the Red Label series, Yamaha combines traditional aesthetics with modern and innovative features. Accordingly, a new scalloped bracing in combination with a thermally treated Sitka spruce top on a mahoganybody ensures a warm, powerful tone with deep basses, nuanced and vocal mids and radiant trebles. In addition, the thermal Acoustic Resonance Enhancement (A.R.E.) treatment conveys the sound and sustain of aged wood.
This makes this Dreadnought the ideal companion for the singer-songwriter who appreciates a powerful vocal accompaniment. A shortened scale length of 634 mm provides comfortable playability, while the chrome-plated open Vintage tuners keep the tuning clean.
For use on stage, the Atmosfeel pickup is available, which has a piezo sensor in the bridge to detect low frequencies, while a microphone transmits the low and mid-range. A newly developed contact sensor is available to capture the high frequencies. The result is a full, natural sound image with controls that make it easy to get a great plug-in sound. Last but not least, a hard bag is already included in the scope of delivery.
