The ZOOM P2 PodTrak is a compact, digital audio recorder specially designed for professional podcasting. It offers two independent mono inputs for USB microphones and a USB input for connection to computers, smartphones or tablets. Recordings are made in high digital quality at 48 kHz with a resolution of 24 bits directly onto microSDHC or microSDXC cards. Practical functions such as AI Noise Reduction ensure effective suppression of ambient noise, while the integrated sound optimization (Tone function) ensures clear, podcast-compatible voice quality. An integrated compressor increases speech intelligibility and reliably avoids clipping.

Simple operation and intuitive control

The P2 is easy to operate, with direct access to level controls, mute buttons for each channel and separate headphone outputs for monitoring. Intuitive voice guidance simplifies basic settings such as date, time or card formatting. The free ZOOM P2 Editor app can be used to make advanced configurations and manage files. The P2 can also be used as a compact 2-in/2-out audio interface , enabling live streaming and podcasts with external guests via the integrated mix-minus function, which prevents feedback during telephone interviews.

Power is suppliedflexibly via USB bus power, commercially available USB power supply units, mobile rechargeable batteries or four AA batteries. Despite this extensive range of features, the ZOOM P2 PodTrak remains extremely compact and mobile at just 226 grams, ideal for podcasts on the go or spontaneous recordings on location.
