4/4 classical guitar with solid red cedar top, rosewood body, ebony reinforced mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard
With the Conservatory 435 the Spanish manufacturer Almansa presents a traditional 4/4 concert guitar, which convinces due to its construction and excellent workmanship. Made from a solid red cedar top and a laminated rosewood body, this instrument produces a broad sound interspersed with warm bass and defined mid-range frequencies. Thanks to its thin lacquer, the Conservatory 435 has a fast response, which is further favored by the strongly vibrating material and allows each individual note to fade away in the overtones. For clean playability, the manufacturer uses a mahogany neck, which is reinforced with fine ebony wood and, thanks to a saddle width of 52 mm, has enough space to make more complex finger patterns possible. Due to its carefully crafted bridge inlay and a finely notched nut, the guitar intones extremely precisely in all 18 frets, which are embedded in a high-quality ebony fretboard. Gold-plated tuners, a multi-layered binding and an elaborate red soundhole rosette create a very aesthetic interplay between the materials used. The instrument is completed with a noble high-gloss finish, which emphasizes the even grain of the woods used.
