Ampeg SVT-3PRO Bass Guitar Amp Head

The Ampeg SVT-3PRO packs the inimitable Ampeg sound into a practical and reliable hybrid head in 19" format . The preamp, which is equipped with three 12AX7 tubes , promises a particularly warm sound that can be increased to a juicy tube grind with the help of the gain control . In addition to an active 3-band EQ with a semi-parametric mid-band , the SVT-3PRO features a 9-band graphic EQ for extremely precise sound adjustments and ultra-high and ultra-low switches to boost the outermost frequency ranges. Another special feature of the bass head is the tube gain control , which determines the voltage supply of the 12AX7 and 12AU7 tubes in the driver stage. With the tube gain control fully turned up, maximum headroom with enormous dynamic range is available, whereas turning it down increases the warmth and compression in the sound image. This bass amp's MOSFET output stage with 450 watts of power provides volume reserves for rehearsal room and stage. Last but not least, the Ampeg SVT-3PRO head is equipped with a balanced line output for direct bass signal pickup and a serial FX loop .
