The Art & Lutherie Legacy Q-Discrete Demin Blue at a glance
With the Art & Lutherie Legacy Q-Discrete Demin Blue, the Canadian manufacturer from Quebec presents a compact acoustic guitar for singer and songwriters, which convinces with its versatility, its functionality and last but not least with its high quality. For expressive mid and treble frequencies, the manufacturer relies on a solid spruce top, which is first subjected to a pressure test to determine that it can develop a perfect sound. The back and sides are made of a three-ply laminate of wild cherry, which gives the sound a basic saturation and which, in combination with a wafer-thin finish, creates an almost attack. A flat maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard offers an obliging playability in all 21 frets, which have enough space due to a nut width of 45 mm, so that also fingerstyle players get their money's worth. At Vintage-Style the two pots of the Q-Discrete pickup system are fixed on the top and allow an easy adjustment of Volume and tone. Matching the pots, the open-gear tuners are also trimmed to old, so that the entire appearance is harmoniously rounded off.
