The DAS Audio ALTEA-412A is an active 12" multifunctional loudspeaker with a multi-angle polypropylene enclosure that allows it to be used as a stage monitor. As a versatile all-rounder, the speaker is suitable for users with the highest demands on playback quality and features, without needing the high maximum levels and equipment of the ALTEA-700 series.
The built-in 12" woofer provides accurate low-frequency reproduction with deep, powerful bass. High frequencies are handled by a 1" compression driver for excellent performance. The frequency response ranges from 60 Hz - 20 kHz. Equipped with a digital bi-amp amplifier with 800 W/peak and switching power supply, the active loudspeaker offers a very good dynamic range, with uniquely low distortion in its class. In addition to 5 different voicing presets, the integrated 24-bit DSP features a 3-band EQ, low-cut filter and FIR filtering (Digital Finite Impulse Response) for optimal playback characteristics.
Simple and convenient operation is ensured by the integrated LCD display incl. the rotary-push encoder on the back of the speaker. The configurable voicing, filter and EQ modes as well as the gain control can be easily set via the rotary-push encoder. Two separately controllable mic/line inputs with a combo jack and a 3.5mm jack input offer versatile connection options.
The high-quality polypropylene housing, with a continuous front grille and illuminated front logo (can be switched off), has bevelled rear sides and can thus also be used as a floor monitor. Thanks to the activatable standby mode, the DAS Audio ALTEA-412A can also be installed in hard-to-reach places. Optionally available is the tiltable wall mount AX-112-5.
DAS Audio offers a free warranty extension to 5 years for active loudspeakers or passive sound systems that consist exclusively of DAS Audio products (loudspeakers, amplifiers, controllers) and provided that the product and customer meet the conditions described by DAS Audio.
