The DigiTech JamMan Solo XT Stereo Looper/Phrase Sampler Pedal is an update to DigiTech's original JamMan Solo stompbox pedal, with new features including JamSync technology to syncronise two or more loop pedals together to create multiple loops across a range of instruments.
The DigiTech JamMan Solo XT picks up from where the JamMan Solo left off while still maintaining its simple user interface and incredibly usable rhythm tracks. The JamMan Solo XT includes a new Auto-Record function, which allows the user to arm the pedal ready to start recording as soon as the first note is played.
Another new feature is JamSync, which allows two or more JamMan Solo XT pedals to be connected and syncronised so that they all have the same loop length, start time and tempo. This is incredibly useful for bands and ensembles who want to create loops together. The capabilities of DigiTech have also updated their Loop management software to JamManager XT, which assists users in syncronising loops to the pedal, creating playlists and building a loop library, handy for sorting loops into the order they'll be needed for a performance.
The JamMan Solo XT still maintains all of the great features of its predecessor. It can store over 35 miutes of stereo, CD-quality loops in 200 internal memory banks as well as a slot for using a Micro SDHC card for an additional 16 hours of recording time. It also comes with a power supply included, ensuring users can plug in a play straight out of the box.

Its a great stereo looper pedal, great sound and build quality, great price.
Just a thing is worth noting, there is no headphones out.
Be prepared for some double stepping, as there is only one stepping button, to perform some of the looping functions like clear, undo and redo, but this can be helped by an external footswitch sold separately.
Nicely build, sounds OK. I just wish they had done a better job with the pre-set rhythm tracks.
Operation is a little bit complicated with the single footswitch. I definitely recommend buying the additional FS3X footswitch, as it is not expensive and will make your life easier.
The internal memory is about 30 minutes, but you can increase to at least 16 hours thanks to the SD card slot.
You can also easily connect to your PC via a USB cable. It is good to save your loops for further usage.
Overall:
+ Great for practicing at home and song-writing. Best Cost-Benefit compare to other loopers.
- Some features aren’t accessible hands-free (optional FS3X external footswitch required).
Sound is good, plenty of features, operation demanding at first, not so easy anyway. Reasonably value for money. Workmanship good. If you need a looper this one you should test. When you want to have a backing track for practising solos try this gear.
I have bought it in 2017 but I have just started to use it for the first time now.
It did not work, so I try with another power supply and it worked,
I checked the 9v power supply that I received and although it says 9v on the sticker it provides 14.3 volts !!!!!
