The Fame E-Drum Monitor AP-30 is a monitor-amplifier-combination especially designed for the requirements of electronic drummers for their practice and home studio area. With a power of 30 Watt it offers a rich sound and can even be used in the rehearsal room. The compact housing can be placed in any setup to save space.
30 watts may not sound like much at first, but they do an incredible job and get the best out of this little wonder box: The AP-30 drum monitor is characterised by an extremely clear and unaltered sound reproduction: concise and sharp highs meet powerful basses and a moderate mid-range. Standard in- and outputs to connect additional equipment make the Fame AP-30 E-drum monitor a well-rounded solution with a unique price-performance ratio.
All controls and connections are located on the top of the drum monitor. This allows the drummer to make adjustments to the sound even while performing. In addition to the volume control, a 3-band equalizer for bass, midrange and treble settings is located on the straightforward user interface. An AUX IN socket with separate volume control allows the additional connection of audio equipment (MP3 or CD player etc.)
The features of the AP-30 monitor box speak for themselves and make it an indispensable tool in the rehearsal room. The 10″ large 2-way coaxial speaker of the AP-30 Monitor is placed in the sturdy cabinet in such a way that it is angled upwards. This way you always get the best sound results, because the sound is transported upwards and thus into the room. A bass reflector opening ensures optimum transmission of the bass drum signal. For comfortable transport, a carrying handle made of soft plastic is located on the top of the monitor box. A metal grille protects the speakers from any kind of damage.

Fame E-Drum Monitor AP-30 maybe I have more experience that other reviewers but I could not give this 5 stars for sound. The sound is OK at low volumes but lacks definition in the high end- also the housing suffers from terrible rattle due to the low end- its really annoying. Turn the volume up past 6 and the sound just falls apart I am afraid. I wanted to like this unit as it looks nice, is very reasonably priced and its very compact. but the sound just doesn't cut it. If you can afford it get a set of studio monitors or at least very good headphones
This monitor is perfect for me. I am a beginner and was simply using ear phones to practice. There is nothing like having the sound come from the monitor though and I was pleasantly surprised at the solid construction and the quality of the sound. The neighbours how ever are not so happy.
Definitely recommend the product, great value for money.
I use this monitor for my electric drum kit, I love how it has a seperate auxillary input so I can play songs from my mp3 while playing the drums or just use it as a speaker. Plenty of volume and also works great for vocals if you buy the Fame microphone pre amp
Looks very nice, quite heavy and it feels that good materials were used. It has nice features such as 3 channel EQ and AUX input with a separate volume channel. Sound is nice, more than enough for home practice.
