Ash body & Rift Sawn Maple neck

The famous 'slab' body is made from two selected pieces of ash according to the traditional Tele recipe and is connected to the Rift Sawn Maple neck using the tried and tested four-way bolt-on joint. The rift-cut maple represents the highest possible quality level and ensures that the annual rings run as vertically as possible from headstock to neck heel for additional stability. Thanks to the pronounced Large-C profile on the back of the neck, the fretting hand has a controlled feel from headstock to neck heel, allowing for confident chord playing and precise leads with ease.

Fender Custom Shop Texas Special Single Coils

Specially developed for fans of the hot sounds of Southern blues rock, the two hand-wound Custom Shop Texas Special Tele single coils in the neck and bridge position offer extended output reserves with a wide dynamic range. Thanks to the use of Alnico 5 magnets and enameled winding wire, the two single coils offer a pronounced mid-range spectrum with silky highs, while the stepped pole pieces of the bridge pickup provide a level Output of all six strings. Both pickups are controlled via common volume and tone controls and a classic blade switch for pickup selection.
