The electric bass has an alder body and a one-piece maple neck, while two Jazz Bass single coils and the 2-band active electronics provide the right sound for every musical style.

The body and neck of the Fender Jaguar Jazz Bass are connected by four screws. The neck plate bears the Fender Custom Shop logo next to the serial number.
Fender Jaguar Bass: Offset design with high playing comfort
Dennis Galuszka chose light alder for the body of the Fender Jaguar Bass NOS, which in combination with the elegant off-set design ensures a high playing comfort. The classic four-screw neck is also made of maple with standing annual rings (Quartersawn Maple), with each groove playing almost by itself on the narrow "1964 Jazz Bass U" profile. Between the 20 frets in the modern medium jumbo format, large block inlays made of pearloid also provide optimum orientation.
The pickup combinations are managed via the lower control panel with three sliders, while the upper body horn has controls and the active/passive switch for the active electronics.
Hand-wound single coils and active electronics
The Fender Masterbuilt Jaguar Bass NOS uses two hand-wound vintage jazz bass single coils as pickups, which are managed by the three sliders on the lower body horn. It is possible to switch the pickups on and off individually and to select serial or parallel operation for the combination circuit. In addition, the E-Bass offers active 2-band tone control, which is operated via two controls and a slide switch on the upper body horn. Master Volume and Master Tone controls are also available.
