Custom-Colour Les Paul in the style of the Fifties.
The Gibson Les Paul Standard '50s Ebony not only comes in a beautiful custom colour finish, but also embodies the sonic ideals of the legendary Les Pauls from the late 1950s. Accordingly, the electric guitar turns out to be the perfect instrument for Blues and rock. While the traditional construction relies on a mahogany body without weight relief, the obligatory maple top and a pleasantly round mahogany neck, Gibson Burstbucker pickups provide top-class sounds with unmistakable vintage character. Last but not least, the since the Fifties proven hardware equipment with Tune-O-Matic bridge and VintageDeluxe tuners completes the Les Paul Standard '50s Ebony by Gibson.
The Gibson Les Paul Standard '50s Ebony is available exclusively for the 50th anniversary at MUSIC STORE Cologne and convinces with authentic Fifties specifications.
The rounded "Vintage '50s" neck and the non-weight-reduced mahogany body of the LP Standard '50s are glued together.
Traditionally built Les Paul
The traditional construction of the Les Paul pays special attention to an authentic playing feel and a natural vintage sound. Under the exclusive Ebony nitrocellulose finish, a gluedmahoganyneck is used alongside the solid mahogany body without weight relief and the maple top. The "Vintage '50s" neck profile with a pleasant rounding creates the best conditions for implementing classic blues and rock playing techniques on the 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
Gibson Burstbucker 1 and Burstbucker 2 Alnico-II humbuckers with PAF genes promise authentic blues and rock sounds with vintage touch.
Gibson Burstbucker Pickups
For the pickup of the Les Paul Standard '50s available exclusively at MUSIC STOREEbonyGibson chooses a set of the popular burstbucker pickups, which carry the genes of the legendary PAF humbuckers. Equipped with Alnico II magnets and unpaired coils, the pickups elicit airy vintage tones with a vocal midrange and lively dynamics, their métier being the classic styles of Blues and rock. The more powerful bridge pickup elicits a harmonic Overdrive with well-dosed assertiveness. The hand-wired circuit with individual volume and tone pots for each pickup and "Orange Drop" capacitors allows precise adjustment of the guitar sound.
Vintage Deluxe tuners with keystone pianos keep the Les Paul Standard '50s securely in the correct tuning.
Vintage style hardware
Last but not least, Gibson completes the Les Paul Standard '50s Ebony with hardware established since the Fifties. The lightweight aluminum stopbar guides the strings over the ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, whose precise adjustments guarantee accurate intonation and comfortable string action. At the headstock, the strings run over a Graph Tech saddle to the precise Vintage Deluxe tuners, which not only keep the electric guitar securely in tune but also support the historically correct look with single-ring keystone wings.
This is a Gibson of old, made in the old way, sounds like the old way and set up 10 times better than the old way. I have refused point blank to buy a Gibson for many years due to their sub standard and sloppy production but I can honestly say it really has been worth the weight. Very very highly recommended and priced about right now as well. Well done Gibson 👏

I was so happy when I had the guitar but when I started playing the bridge humbucker didn't work EVEN thought it certified by it's quality from Gibson and MusicStore.
Really shameful from Gibson and MusicStore but the store sent me a new one that has some finishing issues but I kept because I fell in love with it and I didn't want to go through this a 3rd time.
Be aware of buying from MusicStore but bear in mind they will help you if you contact with a faulty product

This Les Paul is a chunky boi, it is heavy, both in weight and sound. The cleans really clear and sweet sounding, the neck is also a chunky piece of wood to wrap that hand around, the finish is lovely and very sparkly shiny. Its great
