With the Gibson SG Custom 3 pickup Ebony Gloss Gold hardwareis the Gibson Custom Shop has succeeded again a high quality reissue of the Stopbar model, with slim neck profile, golden Hardware and black Ebony Gloss nitrocellulose finish. Three double winders from Gibson's own production complete the appearance of the SG and give it the strong character sound which can score clearly defined clean but also with full steam on gain-rich levels.

3PU pickup configuration
The custombuckerpickups located in neck, middle, and bridge positions offer classic juicy SG tones on the amp, which are particularly well suited for hard rock riffs and distortion-heavy sounds. Depending on your needs, bridge and neck pickups can be switched individually or together with the custombucker in middle position, which can be easily adjusted by the 3-way switching. By CTS potentiometers in the form of two Volume and Tone controls, the sound spectrum of the SG Custom 3PU Ebony can be further adjusted.

The mahogany neck of the GIBSON SG Custom sits firmly set in its mahogany body with a long neck heel and presents itself as especially comfortable thanks to 1960s Slim Taper neck profile. In addition, the proven SG doublecut design ensures comfortable playability of the ebonyfingerboard, even in the high positions of the 22frets. A white Binding frames the fingerboard, which is adorned with Mother or Pearl Block-Inlays. Furthermore, the SG Custom 3PU is equipped with a GibsonTune-O-Matic bridge,stoptail and Grover tuning tuners in kidney shape for ideal intonation condition.
