Manufactured in Japan, the Ibanez AE800-NT leads the AE premium segment of the coveted guitar maker and is specially designed for professional use. With a solid mahogany body and a tonewood top made of Sitka spruce, the AE800 offers a clear and powerful sound, while the agile AE body with wide cutaway ensures appropriate handling.
Electrically amplified, the Ibanez AE800 uses its integrated Ibanez Custom Electronics pickup system, which consists of a T-Bar Undersaddle Pickup plus control unit with mute button in the frame. The signal is preamplified on stage via the included Ibanez AGP10 preamp. Without an onboard preamplifier, the Ibanez AE800 offers a much wider range of sounds, while the purely acoustic sound is not affected by additional electronic components.
