Last but not least, Ibanez completes the SR305E Midnight Gray Burst with reliable Hardware in the classic Cosmo Black finish.
The Ibanez Standard SR305E-MGB Midnight Gray Burst convinces not only with an elegant look, but also with agile playing characteristics and diverse bass sounds.
The slim neck and ergonomically shaped body of the Ibanez Soundgear SR305E electric bass promise a high level of playing comfort.
Typical Soundgear playing comfort
Featuring a Nyatoh body in the typical flowing Soundgear design, the SR305E Bass hugs the player for a robust playing position both sitting on the leg and standing on the strap. The four-bolt neck is five-piece maple and walnut, with a flat "SR5" profile that fits comfortably in the hand and lets fast basslines and complex grooves flow easily on the jatoba fingerboard.
Together with the active 3-band tone control, the Ibanez SR305E's PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups provide tonal versatility.
PowerSpan humbucker with active 3-band tone control.
As pickup on the standard SR305EMGB Midnight Gray Burst specially developed for this BassIbanez PowerSpan dual-coil pickups are used, which in conjunction with the active Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band tone control cover a variable sound spectrum. No matter or transparent solo and jazz sounds, dirty rock growl or rich thrust from the deepest bass basement, the five-stringer always has the right setting for every style ready and presents even deeper tunings precisely.
With the help of the Power Tap switch, the coils of the pickups can be called up in different combinations.
Power tap switch for sound variability
A special feature of the Ibanez SR305E Midnight Gray Burst bass guitar is furthermore the power tap switch, which switches the coils of both humbuckers from the powerful series circuit to tap or power tap mode. While the former provides authentic single-coil sounds with typical clarity and tone definition, the latter adds a fundamental bass component to this sound.
Tuning stable Ibanez die-cast bass machine heads guarantee correct tuning of the SR305 electric bass.
High-quality Hardware with unwavering reliability.
Last but not least, Ibanez equips the Standard SR305E-MGB Midnight Gray BurstBass with reliable Hardware in the classic Cosmo Black Finish style. On the body side, the strings are held by the proven Accu-Cast B125 bridge, whose solid construction supports the bass guitar's sustain-rich tonal character. The individually adjustable string riders for intonation and string position with a string spacing of 16.5 mm offer enough space for clean strokes even with spirited playing, while the top-hinged Ball-Ends make changing the strings much easier. At the headstock, Ibanez Die-Cast bass machine heads also keep the Bass securely in the correct tuning.
I had this bass, sold it but I am think of buying it again. Very well made and very good sound. Rarely goes out of tune. Nice, funky, rounded sound for wide range of genres.

I've never played bass before, but I play guitar. Play a bass was my dream. And my colleagues gifted me a certificate to buy a bass guitar. After research, I chose this one. It was a great combination of price, quality, and amount of strings. It came to me in a couple of days and when I tried it I've gone to nirvana b/c of sound. I'm not a specialist but I do recommend this bass.

An amazing instrument for the money. Low weight, excellent tones, smoothest and least sticky neck I've used on any guitar/bass in this price range. Had it for about 3 weeks now, can't find a fault on it. Sure, it doesn't sound quite like a bass 10 times the price, but I would gig with this any day.
