32 effects, including reverb, chorus, tremolo, delay, distortion and EQ
Simple operation
Incl. sustain pedal
The Kurzweil SP6 is a successful stage piano with a weighted, velocity-sensitive 88-key hammer action keyboard, which is also suitable as a real synthesizer due to the included VAST, KB3 and VA1 syntheses. With 256 Factory sounds and 1024 memory locations for your own sounds, you can draw on the SP6 from the full. For multi-programs, the same number is available for User and Factory combinations. The sounds of the SP6 are fully compatible with those of the FORTE SE, and the SP6 also loads sounds from the PC3. The sounds of the SP6 can be further refined with 32 different effects, including reverb, chorus, tremolo, delay, distortion, EQ, among others; which can also be used and stored with several in an effect chain. The possibility of superimposing up to four sounds is given as well as a split function with up to four zones. An extensively adjustable arpeggiator is also implemented; this can be used once per program and four times in a multi. The high polyphony of 128 voices is sufficiently high so that no decaying note is swallowed even during faster playing. The four switchable knobs and the large display contribute a large part to the very user-friendly operation. The low weight of just 12.4 kg makes the instrument an ideal companion for your performance or transport to lessons.
Professional connections
In addition to the input for the power supply, there are connections for volume and switch pedals as well as the included sustain pedal. Stereo outputs connect the instrument to a mixing console, audio interface or home stereo system. The headphone output allows undisturbed playing and practicing at any time of the day or night. The USB port allows the SP6 to be connected to a computer and used as a master keyboard with music software (DAW). The MIDI inputs and outputs allow interaction with other MIDI equipment such as a sound expander or sequencer.
