The Stomp Box by Logjam is an instrument that enables cajon players, percussionists and guitarists to accompany themselves with a kick drum sound. Simply connect the stomp box to a PA or bass amplifier, the war´s! The sound result can be influenced by changing the position and type of footwear.
The Logarhythm MK4 model
Despite the great success of the MK3 version, the Logarhythm MK4 Stomp Box is the legitimate successor. The MK3 retains the flat angle of attack, while the chamber has been repositioned to further reduce the angle from foot to stompbox for more attack and force. By positioning the sound chamber further forward, some of the weight is also eliminated;
Material and technique
The cabinet of the Logarhythm Stomp Box is made of a wood called Sapele, which provides ideal conditions for a rich kick sound. A profiled rubber mat is glued to the underside of the stomp box to prevent slipping. For a varied game, the Logarhythm Stomp Box is designed to give the player a softer or harder dynamic further to the left or further to the right, depending on the playing position. With a width of 20 cm, it can also be operated with both feet at the same time. The output socket of the Logarhythm Stomp Box comes from the renowned company Neutrik.
