The Martin Guitars LX Ed Sheeran ÷ Signature Edition is a signature edition of the Little Martin guitar, with ÷ body insignia and ÷ fret inlays.
This instrument marks the 3rd guitar created by Martin in association with Ed Sheeran, and has been built to his specific requirements. Accordingly, a 0-14 Fret construction is considered as a model and thus continues the mathematically theme-oriented album cover art trilogy with the ÷ symbols on the fretboard, top and headstock. In addition, the Fishman Sonitone pickup provides the sovereign amplified sound for the stage.

Compact Body, Full Sound: The Martin LX Ed Sheeran ÷ Signature Edition
The body presents the sound of a solid Sitka spruce top and frames and back in mahogany HPL, offers a clear and transparent sound with sufficient depth. Ed Sheeran attaches great importance to sustainability and for this reason frames and back are made of HPL (High Pressure Laminated), a composite of paper and wood chips. In addition, die-cast mechanisms provide tuning stability and precise tuning, whilst a "modified low oval" neck profile ensures smooth playability.

Simple but Effective Amplification
Thanks to Fishman Sonitone pickup equipment, the instrument can be used for gigs, rehearsals, recordings and jams. The E-Sound has a good electro-acoustic level, with which Ed Sheeran plays stadium gigs. Due to its handy format, the acoustic guitar can easily be taken anywhere.
