Neutrik SCD-NC Sealing Cap

Even small particles of dirt can strongly influence the data transmission of fiber optic cables or even prevent it completely. To ensure continued good signal transmission, opticalCON chassis connectors must be covered when not in use.

In order to completely prevent the penetration of interfering factors, the Neutrik SCD-NC rubber sealing cap encloses the complete socket interior. This way dirt and water have no chance to reduce the performance or even destroy it completely. To keep the interior of the sealing cap clean even when a plug is in the jack, the two protective caps can simply be inserted into each other. In this way, contamination becomes impossible in any condition.
