With the Schaller S-Locks presents Schaller the next generation of the famous Security Locks . Introduced in 1981, the guitar strap buckle system now features an extended 6mm screw axis for easy attachment to thick leather straps, while the new Lock-Wheel can be tightened and locked in place with a clamping screw. In addition, the specially turned 4mm thread of the strap pins ensures a secure hold in most common instruments.
I’ve got these on all my guitars now for peace of mind and they’re great.
My only issue with my order was that it took 2 weeks to get to me and I had no communication about shipping so I had to chase it up. I did get a response but it was a very blanket, your order has been posted and should arrive soon, no real customer service or apology or anything, so although they’re a bit cheaper here I probably won’t order again for £8 shipping if that’s a regular occurrence. (I don’t mind waiting for orders as long as I’m told beforehand, but when I’m ordering and it’s in stock, I don’t think it unreasonable to expect it within 5 days or so)
Bought to replace brand new d’darrio straplocks as they were not good on a thicker strap and not as easy to attach to the guitar. The Schiller’s slide on so easily, the D’darrios not so easy. Concerned that I may think they are connected when they aren’t. No such worries with the Schiller’s. Peace of mind at a lower price with so many options. Bought the chrome strap buttons to match the originals on my Les Paul but the black strap locks to match my strap. More guitars? Just by more chrome strap buttons.
One of the original strap locks and probably still one of the best. Can rattle a bit if sitting but I have used them for decades and I trust them on all my guitars.
