Shure KSM141 small diaphragm microphone cardioid/ball
Shure's KSM141 is a premium cardioid and omnidirectional polar pattern condenser microphone ideal for recording acoustic instruments.
The sound
The KSM141 combines high-quality components and Shure's signature ruggedness for detailed and exceptionally accurate sound in demanding studio and live applications. It fully exploits the advantages of the small diaphragm: extremely natural sound and the most precise impulse response. Acoustic instruments sound exactly as they should, undistorted and clear, with all the existing details in the sound.
Range of application
The KSM141 was designed by Shure specifically for recording acoustic instruments. But it also cuts a very good figure on extremely loud electric instruments. The three levels of switchable attenuation (0, -15, - 25 dB) allow even the most extreme sound levels of up to 164 dB. Like all Shure mics, the KSM137 is designed for road use and can easily withstand the rough and tumble of everyday stage use. The included carrying case provides protection during transport.
Features of the KSM141:
Frequency response: 20 - 20,000Hz
Output impedance: 150Ohm
No-load sensitivity: -37dBV/Pa (14.1mV)
Maximum sound pressure (with attenuator) (2.5kOhm load; 20 to 20,000Hz; <1% THD): 139 (154, 164) dB SPL
