The Sommer Cable AMBQ-2000-SW microphone cable with 20 m length in black belongs to the high-quality series SC-AQUA MARINEX. With its salt- and freshwater-resistant meter goods and the splash-proof and dust-proof connectors of the Hicon brand according to IP67 when plugged in, this cable is up to any challenge. It is ready for use anytime and anywhere, so even aqua parks, water oases or permanent connections near the coast as well as long-term events pose no risk.
This microphone cable is the epitome of stability and reliability, with its suitability for demanding installations both indoors and outdoors. This is ensured by the transversely waterproof outer jacket, which provides optimum insulation when the cable is intact. To withstand water pressure and electrical influences, and also to ensure flawless, undistorted signal transmission, the cores have additional stabilization and two copper shields, one of which can be placed on the connector housing to increase protection.
The best possible protection is provided by the HI-X3CF-HD-B three-pin XLR female connector and the HI-X3CM-HD-B three-pin XLR male connector from the Hicon brand in proven quality. These are IP67 water and dust protected when mated, which means their performance is not degraded in adverse conditions. They are equipped with a convenient locking mechanism and are extremely robust due to their metal housing. Corrosion-resistant gold-plated contacts also ensure a long service life. To make the connectors as cable-friendly as possible, a lamellar seal with an internal rubber sealing ring was chosen. In contrast to collet strain relief, this design exerts homogeneous pressure on the cable material and thus prevents the formation of dents. It is a cable-friendly protection against kinking or tearing under mechanical stress.
